BOX GROVE VINEYARD

It is Sarah’s philosophy in both the vineyard and winery to tread as lightly they can. They have made Rhone varietals—shiraz, roussanne and viognier. These have found a second home in Tabilk, in central Victoria, having been grown amongst the tall river red gums for over 100 years. In recent years they have added the Italian varietals prosecco, vermentino and primitivo. These are also suited to the warm and sunny summers and make delicious food-friendly wines.

TAR & ROSES

Vintage 2006 formed the original winemaking partnership of Don Lewis and Narelle King, their vision beginning in Priorat, Spain where they immersed themselves within the classic Mediterranean wine regions & varietals, sparking an interest in
how these varietals could be expressed at home in Central Victoria.

Today, Tar & Roses mission is simple: make premium wines using the most suitable varietals,, from the most suitable regions within Victoria, with a particular focus on Central Victoria, Heathcote, King Valley & Mornington Peninsula.
